Where we tell you what WUNT is all about.

Remember that episode of Muppet Babies were Kermit and the gang made a fake newspaper to impress Nanny? Well, Wakeup Naptown is pretty much just like that … except we're not totally sure who we're trying to impress.

One of our goals is to create a substantial local audience for writers and content creators who either can't get access to traditional local media for whatever reason (political, not enough experience, whatever) … or ones who purposefully eschew traditional local media but perhaps don't have experience in creating sizable audiences for their content. (If you feel like you fit one of those descriptions and you want to be involved, make sure you let us know.)

We can't promise that we won't start selling advertising — we'd love to be able to work on WUNT full-time — but we can promise you that readers will always come first.

Other than that, we're pretty much figuring this thing out as we go, trusting our instincts, learning from our mistakes and trying to turn this into a vibrant, underground media outlet that's moderately well-known in Indianapolis.
